The Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) is the commercial trade processing system being developed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to facilitate trade while strengthening border security. ACE will eventually replace the current import processing system for CBP, the Automated Commercial System (ACS). More filers are electing to transition to ACE as CBP provides more benefits to the trade for choosing ACE over ACS for their entry filing.
